Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s spokesman is making news of his own.

John Corbett, who serves as senior advisor to Ayotte, has been named to the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) 2025 class of 40 under 40.

“Being named to the 40 Under 40 list is more than a milestone — it’s a recognition of outstanding innovation, leadership, and vision,” said AAPC President Larry Huynh. “These individuals are not only shaping the political landscape today; they are redefining the future of our profession.”

“The AAPC is dedicated to fostering the next generation of political professionals and is proud to recognize leaders and innovators in the political business community (including media, advertising, polling and public affairs) who are making a mark in their organizations and their professions,” according to the organization.

Corbett led Governor Ayotte’s 2024 campaign as general consultant, a race that culminated in a surprising nine-point victory over former Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig.

Before that, Corbett was an Executive Vice President at Jamestown Associates, working on many successful state and local races.

“I have met few individuals in my career with the combination of grit, skill, and dedication that John Corbett possesses. I am pleased to see him recognized nationally and am grateful for his service to our state,” Ayotte said.
