Attempting to build on polling data showing her Granite State campaign has momentum, Nikki Haley’s campaign has released the full slate of New Hampshire delegates who will represent her at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisc.

The list includes Republicans from the more conservative, “liberty” wing of the party like retired General Don Bolduc –the party’s 2022 nominee for U.S. Senate — and former state Sen. John Reagan, as well as traditional Republicans like Keene Mayor George Hansel and former state party vice chair Matt Mayberry.

“From General Bolduc to Mayor Hansel, the Haley delegate slate shows an impressive breadth of support that underscores her growing momentum in New Hampshire,” said GOP campaign veteran Jim Merrill.

Haley is in New Hampshire on Monday, campaigning alongside Gov. Chris Sununu, who has been acting as a Granite State sherpa for the Republican candidates challenging former President Donald Trump in the First in the Nation primary.

Haley advisor Rick Wiley says the slate of delegates is another sign that “unlike other candidates that have all but given up on New Hampshire, Nikki’s fighting to win over every vote.”

Just two months ago, Haley was polling around five percent in New Hampshire, putting her well behind Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) and trailing former Gov. Chris Christie and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as well. Today, she is approaching 20 percent in the RealClearPolitics polling average, putting her solidly in second place ahead of Christie (11 percent) and DeSantis (8 percent).

At the same time, Trump remains the prohibitive favorite, with a nearly 30-point lead over Haley and the rest of the field.

Haley’s team is hitting away at the electability issue, pointing to polls showing she outperforms her fellow Republicans — including Trump — in theoretical head-to-head match-ups against President Joe Biden.

“Nikki Haley continues to prove she is the best challenger to Donald Trump and Joe Biden. According to the most recent Emerson College poll, in New Hampshire, Nikki Haley crushes Joe Biden in a general election, 45 percent to 39 percent,” the campaign said in a statement.

Trump supporters dismiss the argument, noting that Trump continues to lead Biden across multiple polls, and that his GOP support in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina gives him the party’s only path to victory.

Wiley, however, remains confident.

“New Hampshire picks presidents, and our delegates are ready to make history.”
