Jon Huntsman made a campaign stop at Harvey’s Bakery in downtown Dover Monday afternoon. Among the throng of supporters who greeted him was Isak the Goat.
In classic primary tradition, Isak met Huntsman at least three times before committing. (Isak attended Huntsman’s two Dover town hall meetings this year as well as today’s stop at Harveys). And, initially Huntsman’s entreaties were met with a mix of indifference and hostility. In fact, Isak famously nipped at Huntsman during an October encounter.
But today, Isak sported a Huntsman blanket and gave Huntsman a nuzzle, not a nip.
Huntsman also shook hands with patrons inside Harvey’s and exchanged appreciative words with volunteers and supporters.
